Skills & Qualifications

  • Current professional licensure in Guam and/or Hawaiʻi (as applicable)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLP positions

  • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-informed practice

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A warm, positive, and professional attitude

  • Enjoys working with children through play, connection, and creativity

  • Passion for building meaningful relationships with families

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently

  • Organized with strong time management and documentation skills

  • Flexible and adaptable in a growing practice environment

  • Collaborative team player who enjoys supporting and learning from others

  • A willingness to laugh, have fun, and celebrate the little wins alongside our families

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, individualized care for pediatric clients

  • Complete evaluations, consultations, and/or therapy services within your area of expertise

  • Maintain timely documentation and professional records

  • Communicate effectively with families and other professionals

  • Collaborate with the Waves & Words team to ensure an exceptional client experience
